Salesaway furniture. Where can I start? I stumbled upon them when my wife and I were looking to buy new furniture for our apartment that we were moving into. The first thing that shocked us were the unimaginable affordable prices. It truly seemed like it was too good to be true. After browsing the site, we realized how extensive was their inventory.We found pretty much everything we were looking for to furnish the whole apartment at unbeatable prices. The site was incredibly user friendly and we quickly started saving items that we loved. We ended up calling them and we were won over by their professionalism, patience, understanding and willingness to give us a bulk discount . Soon after we made payment online, which was a smooth and safe experience. We were very skeptical at first but they kept reassuring us every step of the way. Despite the little misunderstanding we had about the delivery date, they over delivered by honoring their word on delivering on the date agreed and staying till past 1am to assemble each and every furniture while creating a very friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We were truly impressed with the whole experience and we highly recommend Salesaway for your furniture purchase. Trust me, you are in for a treat with these guys.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! If I could rate 0 stars, I would.I have tried to be sympathetic with this company, but their lack of professionalism and horrible customer service is extremely disappointing and they do not deserve your hard earned money.We purchased a couch from SalesAway and paid $50 shipping for a specific date and time. First the time got changed, ok fine! Then the day off (a Saturday) I get a call from their driver who has hurt their back and they actually wouldn’t be delivering until Monday. I try reason to see if there is another driver as we just moved into our apartment and were relying on our couch to be our bed temporarily. Long story short, no other drivers were available. I asked for the $50 delivery fee returned (FYI when I first asked for this refund, suddenly the drivers back was ok to which I told him I didn’t want him to deliver as I didn’t want responsibility if he hurt his back further, but very iconic if you ask me). After some back and forth, but ultimately the driver agreed directly to me on the phone.On Monday, we get a text saying unfortunately the colour we selected got sold and did we want to pick another colour. HOW does this happen? HOW is this anyway to operate a business? But again, we try be sympathetic to the company and select a different colour. When the driver delivers our couch, myself and my boyfriend ask again TO HIS FACE re the refund and he agreed TO OUR FACE.Months go by, no refund received. I texted, and I got ignored. I call, and no answer. I email, and days later I get a response instead offering me $50 off my next order - as if I would EVER order from this company again.In this same email, I asked for a quality check on our couch to see if someone from their team could come out and view it, and sit on it since we have only had the couch for 2 months and there is springs popping out that you can feel. Their response was asking me to take photos… as if that would help. We aren’t complaining from an aesthetic point of view which an image would warrant, we are complaining from a comfort point of view which if they were a legit business, they would come out and see for themselves.I have emailed back ALL of this. I asked again for my $50 refund that was promised, and asked again for someone to come view the couch in person as I would like them to be aware of their quality control issue. IGNORED, once again.You can read their full email to me below if you want to see how dismissive and rude they were of customers who pay out their good earned money to them. AVOID!!!!!!!!“Regrettably, we operate with a single driver, which limits our flexibility in this situation. We have explored the possibility of adding more drivers, but the costs are significantly higher, especially for downtown deliveries, and we strive to maintain affordable pricing for our customers. The delivery charge is a direct compensation for the driver's time and fuel, especially considering the extended distance and traffic congestion associated with downtown areas, hence the $50 fee. Regarding the unavailability of the colour you wanted, our suppliers only notify us of stock levels after we place an order, so we're unable to predict this in advance. We've communicated your feedback to them and are hopeful for an improved system in the future. If you could provide photos of the sofa, we will forward them to our supplier to see if a repair is possible, although it is beyond the 7-day manufacturing warranty period, and they may not be able to accommodate the request.We are committed to making things right for you. We will pass your feedback to our supplier and, as a gesture of our apologies for the inconvenience, we are offering you a $50 discount on your next purchase”

Excellent experience. Delivery person was willing to go out of their way to accommodate me. We needed delivery to a storage unit, and he was willing to adjust their shipping policy so that I could receive my furniture for a tight deadline. Would definitely recommend.

Easy to assemble! I, myself alone, finished assembling for 1.5 hour only! Still waiting for the cushions to return to normal state, but it already looks great! And the chargers of the sofa does work, not a speedy one though lmao. Will update if anything happens but let’s hope not so :)

We purchased a couch from Salesaway and are overall pleased by the experience. Rebecca was an amazing representative - very knowledgeable, the price was unmatched, and the product was easy to assemble, looks great and so far seems to be good quality. The couch we purchased was not available in the store but it is exactly like the pictures we were shown online. I just have a few notes that would make it a 5 star review:The storefront - I called the store several times before going to ask some questions and never got any response. We decided to drive to the location but found the actual storefront to be pretty hard to find, also the were not open until about 3pm even though the hours say 1pm on google.The delivery was delayed one day which we were a bit concerned about since we had already payed for the couch. They also did not contact us that it would be delayed, so I only found out after I contacted Rebecca myself. The next day the couch was again not delivered in the window, I again had to reach out and Rebecca provided the delivery drivers number. We ended up getting the couch at 9pm. Honestly I didn’t mind the delays, it just would have been a better experience if we were told instead of having to contact them myself.Not bad service and product given that it is the cheapest we could find by far. Rebecca was super responsive and helped with all of our concerns immediately. I would buy from them again in a heartbeat!

The worst experience I had, I tried going there 3 days in a row but they were never there despite them saying online that they are open every day. I had called them and they told me that they will be back the next day, and when I came back next day they were still closed once again. This is very unprofessional and really shows how unserious they take their business. We came all the way from Ajax just to be met with a closed door once again. Very disappointed.

Warning: It's strongly advised to avoid dealing with this store. They display furniture that differs entirely from what they actually sell in terms of materials and quality. Just over a month ago, I purchased a sectional sofa only to discover the poor quality materials used in its construction, as clearly evidenced in the provided videos. Upon contacting them directly just one day after receiving the sectional sofa, I informed them of the stark quality difference compared to what they showcase in-store. However, they adamantly refused to facilitate a return, despite the fact that it came with a one-week warranty. Even after persistently pressuring them to honor their warranty, they offered to refund it only under the condition of a 50% deduction from its original price. My advice to you is to steer clear of them.IN REGARDS TO YOUR REPLY, HERE’s MY RESPONSE:Thank you for your response, but I must express my disappointment in your attempt to get justify your subpar business practices.Your assertion that I "seem to have gotten your warranty and refund policy confused" is not only condescending but completely unfounded. I am well aware of the difference between a warranty and a refund policy. However, it seems you are confused about the concept of honoring a warranty. When a product fails to meet reasonable quality standards, as was clearly the case with the sectional sofa I purchased from your store, it is not just a matter of "missing parts" or "manufacturing defects." The entire product was of inferior quality compared to what was showcased in your store.Your attempt to shift blame onto me for opening the box is absurd. How else was I supposed to inspect the product? Your refusal to accept returns once the box is opened speaks volumes about your lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. It's convenient for you to hide behind a policy that absolves you of responsibility for selling misrepresented products.Offering to replace a few defective parts does not rectify the fundamental issue of false advertising and poor quality. Your insistence on enforcing a policy that blatantly disregards consumer rights is unacceptable. Your policy may be stated on your website, but that does not make it fair or ethical.I will not stand idly by while you dismiss my valid concerns and attempt to gaslight me into believing I am at fault. What an amazing place to get the furniture you need! We found ourselves needing to shop for my totally blind sister who lives in Toronto, which is 3 hours from where we live. The first thing she needed was a bed (one day delivery as it was an emergency) and she was so grateful to have it! The next thing was a couch, and Cheyanne has been amazing both times with the personal service to help us select the right one over the phone. The delivery went exactly as planned with great communication by the driver, and he also put it together for her since we weren’t able to get to her place until a week later. The couch is just perfect for her place and super comfortable……and both the bed and couch/ottoman were a great deal!! Thanks again for everything Salesaway! 👏❤️

What a fantastic shopping experience! Starting in person, at the store was the AMAZING salesperson Rebecca. Extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about EVERY product!! When we had made our choice, Rebecca had us checked out and delivery set up within minutes.Sandeep, the delivery person was a delightful, friendly, hard working guy who got both pieces in our living room by himself! I Purchased a sectional sofa for my son and daughter-in-law in November 2022.By the end of December early January the seat cushions flattened and I'm not sure why but springs were popping out of the material. Why are there springs in the cushions ? I had called and spoke to the owner and pretty much didn't get anywhere. I was told they would contact the manufacturer to see what could be done but pretty much was told nothing could be done and that it was how the furniture was treated by the owner. First......their adults not children, Second....furniture should last at least for 2-5 years not a couple of months. I than complained on their Facebook page and it was removed and I was blocked. Nice!!I would highly recommend consumers shopping elsewhere . Couch was Garbage !

Have bought two Murphy beds from them, and two mattresses. Bought the first bed about 3 years ago and was so happy with it, that when we decided to put a Murphy bed in our guest bedroom, we went back! The staff are very friendly, helpful and quick to respond to questions. The men who came to install the beds, in both instances were very friendly and professional!

I purchased a L Sofa/couch from your company in October 2022. Unfortunately, I am disappointed to report that the couch began to sink after just 3 months and was completely unusable after 6 months. When I reported this issue to the place of purchase, no solution was offered as it was not covered by the warranty.It is not normal for products like a couch to become unusable or deformed in such a short period of time, which leads me to believe that there was a production error in your product. However, I was disappointed when you claimed that it was due to user error rather than a production error. I used the couch under normal conditions, and I believe that it became unusable due to a production error.I expected you to take responsibility for the issue and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, it seems that your company is not of the quality I expected. I was left as a dissatisfied customer, as the couch becoming unusable due to a production error has caused me inconvenience and financial loss.As an importer, you are also responsible for the quality of the products you sell. However, you seem to have found an easy way out by dismissing your responsibility. I plan to take this issue to the relevant authorities to prove my case and ensure that this does not happen to other customers.

Bought a bed frame and mattress last year. The bed frame broke after two months. The wooden slates are small pieces of wood that broke off from the bed frame so they should be bigger and provide more support. The frame gave me a lot of trouble but salesaway were very helpful to make amends. The mattress is very good and firm and would recommend.

I would give it 0 stars if I could....I bought a sofabed through a Facebook representative, 6 months later and the sofabed is in horrible condition. After paying over $700 for it. The springs are gone and it is extremely uncomfortable.When contacting customer service I was greeted with very unhelpful reply.I would NOT recommend this company, horrible customer service and sofas that need to be replaced in a few months. The company's response may say that we 'didn't buy from them', as the company has written in other responses. This is untrue, as other reviews will attest to.
